A KOHINOOR TO SELL

                                                       A KOHINOOR TO SELL

IT WAS THE USUAL EVENING
AND MY DIAMOND SHOP WAS READY.
WHEN A MAN CAME FROWNING
WITH TORE CLOTHES AND UNTIDY.

WHEN MY GAURD STOPPED HIM AT DOOR
HE STARTED SHOUTING MY NAME.
IN ANGER, I TOLD HIM TO LEAVE THE FLOOR
BUT HE SAID, HE WILL GAVE ME THE FAME.

I STARED AT HIS DULL, BLACK, RAGGED FACE
THEN I PEEPED DIRECTLY INTO HIS EYES
AND MY ANGER SLOWED DOWN ITS PACE.
CAT IN ME THOUGHT OF GAVING A CHANCE TO THIS MICE.

HE DIPPED HIS HAND INSIDE HIS UNTIDY PANT
AND REMOVED A TRIANGULAR GLASS, FILLED WITH GEL.
HE SAID-I DIDN'T WANT ANY RUPEES OR CENT
GIVE ME CLOTHES, AND I HAVE A KOHINOOR TO SELL.

STUNNED, I LOOKED AT THE PIECE OF THE STONE
IN HIS HAND IT WAS SHINING LIKE A MOON.
I RAN INTO MY OFFICE TO MAKE A PHONE
TO FIND OUT IF IT IS A CURSE OR A BOON.

IN A MATTER OF SECOND WE MADE A DEAL
AND EXCHANGED CLOTHES FOR THE DIAMOND.
NOT KNOWING IT WAS HIS OR HE HAS STEAL
I CALLED THE BIGGEST BROKER, MR. SYMOND.

FIRSTLY, WE APPROACHED THE NO.1 BUSINESSMAN
FOR APPOINTMENT I SPEND LAKHS, AND SHOWED THIS DIVINE
HE SAID- THE WEALTH HE HAS IS OF HIS SHAREMAN.
RATHER THAN THIS, HE WILL SPEND ON GIRL, CARS AND WINE.

I SPEND MORE LAKHS, TO APPROACH THE NO.1 POLITICIAN
AND SHOWED HIM THE UNBURNED COAL; FIRST HE TOOK A NOTE
HE SAID THE WEALTH HE HAS IS OF COBBLER AND ELECTRISIAN
AND HE WOULD RATHER SPEND ON PUBLICITY TO GAIN MORE VOTE.

THE NEXT LAKHS FOR THE NO.1 ACTOR ON THE LAND
I SHOWED HIM THE GODS CREATION FOR WHICH HE SAID.
THE MONEY I HAVE IS THAT OF THE PRODUCTION BAND
AND RATHER THAN THIS HE WOULD SPEND ON HIS OWN WED.

TEACHERS, INVESTORS, STAKEHOLDERS, CEO AND EVEN MAFIA
I APPROACHED THEM ALL, SPENDING ALL MY PENNY
THEY ANSWERED NO,NAH, NI, NU, NAM, NIA...
AND FOR APPROACHING MORE I HAVE NO MORE MONEY

WHEN I RETURNED BACK, FIRST I CALCULATED
MY LIABILITIES GOT UP AND ASSETS FELL
AND MY MARKET CREDIT DIMINISHED AND DEFEATED
BUT STILL I WAS LEFT WITH A KOHINOOR TO SELL.

SURRENDERED, I LEFT THE HOME AND STARTED TO BEG ON STREET
SOMETIMES USED TO EAT NEAR DRAIN AND SOMETIMES NEAR WELL.
SOMETIMES THEY GAVE ME NICE FOOD AND SOMETIMES ROTTEN MEAT.
AND NOW I LOST EVERYTHING BUT STILL I HAD A KOHINOOR TO SELL

ONE DAY I DECIDED I WOULD LET IT GO
APPROACHED A DIAMOND SHOP AND SHOWED HIM THAT HELL.
I EXCHANGED IT FOR THE CLOTHES AND GAVE A BOW
AS I MOVED, I HEARD HIM- I HAVE A KOHINOOR TO SELL.
